C.J. Stroud will start, but Texans rule out Another Key Player

C.J. Stroud is set to make a return as the Texans’ quarterback after missing two games due to a concussion. He’s been cleared and fully participated in practice on Thursday and Friday without any injury designation.

Nico Collins, Noah Brown, Laremy Tunsil, and Shaq Mason, like Stroud, are also cleared from the injury report as they exited it on Friday, indicating their availability.

However, Jonathan Greenard, with an ankle issue, will be sidelined after missing the entire week of practice. His absence is notable given his season’s performance with 12.5 sacks and 22 quarterback hits.

As for Will Anderson, Maliek Collins, Steven Nelson, Andrew Beck, and Sheldon Rankins, their status is uncertain. Collins and Nelson didn’t practice all week, while Anderson and Rankins returned to limited work on Friday. Beck was newly listed on the injury report on Friday.
