“You’re Literally Lying”: Tom Brady Called Out for Allegedly Fabricating Story About Shedeur Sanders
NFL legend Tom Brady is facing criticism after comments he made regarding quarterback Shedeur Sanders, following Sanders’ unexpected slide in the NFL Draft. Despite Brady’s status as a seven-time Super Bowl winner, Las Vegas Raiders co-owner, and respected sports analyst, some fans are accusing him of not being truthful.
During a recent appearance on the IMPAULSIVE podcast hosted by Logan Paul, Brady claimed he reached out to Sanders after the draft disappointment. “I actually texted Shedeur… I said, ‘Dude, wherever you go, that’s your first day,’” Brady explained, drawing parallels to his own experience of being picked 199th overall in the 2000 NFL Draft. He encouraged Sanders to stay motivated and make the most of his opportunities.
Brady emphasized that where a player is drafted doesn’t define their future, citing the success of several undrafted or low-drafted players he played with, like Rodney Harrison, Julian Edelman, Wes Welker, and Danny Amendola.
However, Brady’s remarks have sparked backlash, with some fans accusing him of exaggerating or fabricating his connection with Sanders, questioning the authenticity of the claimed mentorship.
