Illinois football continues to bolster its 2026 recruiting class, landing another standout wide receiver on Thursday.
Kenyon Alston, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Florida, announced his commitment to Illinois on social media. Alston, a three-star recruit, is ranked No. 555 nationally for the class of 2026, No. 83 among wide receivers, and No. 75 in Florida. He had offers from top programs like Florida State, Baylor, Arkansas, and Miami (FL).
This commitment brings Illinois’ 2026 recruiting class to five players, earning a No. 33 national ranking. The group includes Michael Clayton, a high-three-star quarterback, and Landen Von Seggern, a top offensive lineman. Alston will join Davon Grant, a 6-foot-4 wide receiver and another top 600 recruit, to create a formidable offensive lineup.

Head coach Bret Bielema is assembling an impressive roster, aiming to enhance Illinois’ offensive capabilities. With early success in recruiting, the future looks bright for the Fighting Illini in 2026 and beyond.
