Arizona State wide receiver Elijhah Badger has committed to the Florida Gators. This week, the Gators hosted two transfer prospects for official visits, including Badger, one of the top receivers entering the portal this spring.

Badger visited Gainesville earlier this week and committed to the Gators on Friday. Prior to this, he had taken official visits to Washington and Arizona.

During his time at Arizona State, Badger played in 35 games, amassing 142 receptions for 1,640 yards and 10 touchdowns over four seasons. He also contributed 111 rushing yards and three touchdowns on the ground. Although an injury limited his performance last season, the Gators’ coaching staff has assessed that he has since recovered well.

Badger joins a Florida receiving corps seeking experience after losing Ricky Pearsall to the NFL draft following a strong 2023 season. With Badger’s addition, the Gators now boast a solid trio of receivers at the top of their depth chart, including Tre Wilson and Chimere Dike. Dike transferred from Wisconsin last winter and participated in spring camp with the Gators.
