Carr, a seasoned quarterback, has had a consistent career statistically but has struggled to lead his teams to significant victories. Although he’s been a four-time Pro Bowler, his playoff success is notably lacking—he’s yet to secure a postseason win.
In his recent season with the Saints, Carr maintained his typical performance level but fell short of leading his team to the playoffs, finishing with a 9-8 record.
Despite other potential options like Tua Tagovailoa, Carr could emerge as the best immediate choice for the Cowboys if they lose Prescott.
