Standing at 6 feet 3 inches and weighing 300 pounds, Eguakun secured a $20,000 signing bonus along with a $225,000 base salary guarantee, according to Birkett.
With an impressive collegiate career that includes 30 starts at center over five years at Florida, Eguakun brings a wealth of experience to the professional level. Reflecting on his time at Gainesville, he emphasized the invaluable experience of competing in the SEC and how it has prepared him for the challenges ahead.
However, Eguakun faced adversity in 2023 when an ankle injury sidelined him for eight games in his final college season, likely impacting his draft stock.
