Ac Milan News: Player’s father insists he didn’t flop at Chelsea – Blames everything on lack of minutes

The father of the player insists that his son did not fail at Chelsea, attributing any shortcomings to the lack of playing time. The €20m investment made by AC Milan to secure Christian Pulisic from Chelsea last summer has proven to be highly worthwhile.

With 12 goals and eight assists for AC Milan thus far, Pulisic is experiencing a resurgence after facing challenges in London.

Mark Pulisic, speaking to Milan News, defended his son’s time at Chelsea. When questioned about whether this is his son’s best season yet, he emphasized that Christian did not underperform at Chelsea but rather lacked consistent game time. He expressed confidence that Christian, at 25 years old, is now hitting his stride, continually working on improving his game and earning the respect of his teammates.

Chelsea signed Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund for €64m in 2019. Over his four years at Stamford Bridge, he amassed 26 goals and 21 assists in 145 appearances. It wouldn’t be surprising if Pulisic achieves similar numbers within just a couple of seasons at Milan, given his current form.

In his final season at Chelsea, the US international faced limited playing time due to injuries and managerial decisions. Now, it appears he has found the ideal environment to showcase his talents and accomplish what he struggled to achieve at Chelsea.
