Milan has secured a deal with Real Madrid for the acquisition of Alex Jimenez, as confirmed by a report from Sky Sports via TMW. The Serie A powerhouse has opted to exercise the purchase option outlined in Jimenez’s loan agreement from Real Madrid, which was set at €5 million. Milan and the Spanish club have reached an agreement on the terms of the player’s permanent transfer.

The next step for Milan involves entering into negotiations with the 18-year-old’s agent regarding contract details. These discussions are anticipated to take place post-Easter and the international break, with the club expressing confidence in reaching an agreement on salary terms. Jimenez, a product of Real Madrid Castilla, has been on loan since the commencement of the season, featuring in 17 matches for Milan’s U-19 team and making five appearances for the first team across various competitions.
