The Boston Celtics secured their eighth consecutive victory by defeating the Chicago Bulls 129-112 in their first game back after the All-Star break.

Kiszla: "No way will Derrick White ever sniff any part of the NBA Finals." Well, well, well. Look at White now.

Derrick White led the scoring with 28 points, followed closely by Jayson Tatum with 25.

White expressed the enjoyable aspect of playing with the Celtics, noting that key players like Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Kristaps Porzingis allow him and others the freedom to be aggressive when they’re performing well. He emphasized the team’s camaraderie and flexibility, highlighting how different players step up each quarter, making the game exciting and enjoyable for everyone.

In addition to his scoring prowess, White contributed three rebounds, three blocks, five assists, and two steals, shooting an impressive 64% from the field, including a flawless 5-for-5 from beyond the three-point line.

During the game, Celtics center Luke Kornet showcased a distinctive celebration, resembling a mix of karate chops and dabbing. While White wasn’t entirely certain about Kornet’s intentions, he chose not to inquire, simply enjoying the moment.

Kornet, despite coming off the bench, contributed 10 points and four rebounds in just 14 minutes of play.

With this victory, Boston’s record improved to 44-12, and they aim to continue their winning streak as they face the New York Knicks in their upcoming game.
