Recent reports from Ian Rapoport indicate that the Falcons have sought second interviews with Baltimore Ravens’ defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald and defensive line coach Anthony Weaver.

While earlier speculation hinted at the possibility of hiring Bill Belichick, the Falcons have since conducted second interviews with Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and others, suggesting a broader exploration of options. The search has included interviews with various candidates, such as Houston Texans Offensive Coordinator Bobby Slowik, Philadelphia Eagles Offensive Coordinator Brian Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals Offensive Coordinator Brian Callahan (reportedly finalizing arrangements to become the next head coach of the Tennessee Titans), San Francisco 49ers Defensive Coordinator Steve Wilks, Carolina Panthers Defensive Coordinator Ejiro Evero, former Tennessee Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel, Los Angeles Rams Defensive Coordinator Raheem Morris (formerly an interim head coach for the Atlanta Falcons), Buffalo Bills Quarterback Coach and Interim Offensive Coordinator Joe Brady, and Detroit Lions Defensive Coordinator Aaron Glenn.
