Wolves are prepared to cash in on Fabio Silva this summer, but only at their terms. The Portuguese striker, who has struggled to make an impact since his £35 million move five years ago, is pushing for an exit after multiple loan spells.

Borussia Dortmund have already submitted three bids, all of which were rejected, while AS Roma have also entered the race. According to BILD, Wolves have now upped their asking price beyond the initial £26 million valuation, taking advantage of the growing interest.

Reports suggest that an offer in the region of £21.5–26 million is no longer sufficient, with Wolves hoping to spark a bidding war between the two clubs. Despite speculation that Dortmund had cooled their pursuit, they are still believed to be “actively negotiating.”

Silva has scored just five goals in 72 appearances for Wolves, spending much of his time out on loan. Any sale would represent smart business for the Molineux club, who are in need of funds to reinforce their squad, particularly in attack.

If Wolves manage to secure a fee above £26 million, it could rank among their best deals of the window, giving them room to strengthen their options up front and support Jorgen Strand Larsen in leading the line.
