Buffalo Bills icon Jim Kelly, widely regarded as one of the franchise’s top quarterbacks, is set to make a silver screen appearance in a Hallmark Christmas film. Despite leading the team to four consecutive Super Bowl losses, Kelly remains a beloved figure in the Buffalo community and across the Northeast.
According to Jarrett Bailey of Sporting News, Kelly will be joined by several other Bills legends in the upcoming holiday movie. This project follows in the footsteps of the Kansas City Chiefs, who recently starred in “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”, which aired on Hallmark. That movie featured a Chiefs fan named Alana falling for a team executive and even included a cameo from Donna Kelce, mother of Travis and Jason Kelce.
The upcoming Bills-themed film will feature Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, Scott Norwood, Damar Hamlin, and head coach Sean McDermott. It hasn’t yet been confirmed whether current quarterback Josh Allen will appear in the movie.
While Allen has recently made history—surpassing Kelly for the most playoff touchdown passes in franchise history—Kelly remains the gold standard of quarterbacking in Buffalo.

Jim Kelly’s Legacy with the Bills
Kelly played 11 seasons for the Bills from 1986 to 1996, throwing for 35,467 yards and 237 touchdowns, firmly cementing his place as one of the all-time greats in team history.
