The excitement surrounding Clemson football continues to build as the 2025 season approaches, with momentum expected to carry all the way through summer and into the highly anticipated season opener against LSU.

After a playoff appearance in 2024, Dabo Swinney’s Tigers return more production than any other Power Four team. With a standout quarterback, an elite receiving group, and one of the best defensive lines in the country, Clemson enters the season stacked at nearly every position.

While much of the offseason discussion has focused on the Tigers’ NFL Draft potential — with projections of four to six first-rounders — the spotlight is now shifting to their 2025 on-field expectations.

On3 recently revealed its list of the top 100 college football players for 2025, and four Clemson players made the top 35:

  • Peter Woods – No. 13
  • TJ Parker – No. 18
  • Avieon Terrell – No. 21
  • Cade Klubnik – No. 33

Klubnik’s placement at 33 raised eyebrows, as many analysts view him as the top returning quarterback in the country. He’ll have plenty of opportunities to prove that ranking too low.

With four players ranked in the top 35, Clemson is firmly positioned as a national championship contender. Anything short of a College Football Playoff berth — likely as a top-four seed and ACC champion — would be a major surprise.
