Newcastle United are reportedly prepared to offer around €40m for Real Madrid midfielder and Manchester United target, Eduardo Camavinga. However, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the France international is unlikely to be available for anything less than €70m.

This follows previous reports linking Manchester United with Camavinga as an alternative to Brighton’s Carlos Baleba. Both clubs are also reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid’s Conor Gallagher for the same position, as exclusively reported by CaughtOffside earlier today.

Camavinga shares a similar playing style and would be an exciting addition to the Premier League.

Could Eduardo Camavinga Make a Late Move to the Premier League?

Eduardo Camavinga in Real Madrid training
Camavinga’s future looks set to be a key storyline in the final hours of the summer transfer window. Both Newcastle and Manchester United appear to be targeting midfielders, and the 22-year-old could be available if the right offer comes in. However, as of now, no club seems close to meeting Real Madrid’s €70m asking price for the former Rennes star.

While Camavinga may not be a guaranteed starter under Xabi Alonso this season, there’s still a strong possibility he could play a significant role in the squad.

Real Madrid Planning Midfield Changes
It seems Camavinga might not be the perfect fit for Alonso’s plans at Real Madrid. CaughtOffside has learned that Los Blancos are also keen on signing young England international Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace, who could better suit Alonso’s tactical approach. This could open the door for Camavinga’s potential move, though it might be too late to finalize anything before the transfer window closes.
