Nicolas Raskin’s situation at Rangers remains unresolved with less than two weeks left in the transfer window. The Belgian midfielder, one of the club’s standout performers last season, has attracted growing speculation about a potential move away from Ibrox.

Presenter Gabby Logan suggested during Amazon Prime’s coverage of Rangers’ clash with Club Brugge that Premier League sides are showing strong interest in the 24-year-old. She described the tie as a “big showcase” for Raskin, who has become a key figure since joining Rangers in 2023.

Former goalkeeper Allan McGregor added that interest may remain uncertain until offers arrive but admitted a Champions League run could boost both Raskin’s reputation and potential transfer value: “If he does well in this competition and gets into the Champions League, hopefully that will raise his price if they do want to sell him.”

Raskin was one of the few positives in Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat to Club Brugge, registering a 7.4 FotMob rating after 90 minutes that included 67 touches, six passes into the final third and eight defensive contributions. His steady display only underlined how difficult he would be to replace if sold, especially with Rangers already short of experienced midfield options.

With the clock ticking on the window, Russell Martin faces a dilemma  losing Raskin this late could leave Rangers exposed in Europe, with little time to secure an adequate replacement.
