Wolverhampton Wanderers are pushing to strengthen their squad this summer by targeting Bayer Leverkusen’s versatile midfielder, Amine Adli. As reported by German outlet BILD, Wolves have submitted a formal offer for the Moroccan international, with Leverkusen reportedly valuing him at around £26 million.

Although Adli has been on Newcastle United’s radar in the past, he isn’t seen as a vital part of Leverkusen’s plans and is unlikely to be a regular starter. A move to the Premier League could offer him the consistent playing time he needs to progress, and Wolves might be an ideal stepping stone for a future transfer to a bigger club.

Adli is known for his blend of technical skill and physical presence, attributes that suit the demands of English football. He can operate centrally, in an attacking midfield role, or out wide, giving Wolves tactical flexibility. His ability to beat defenders in one-on-one scenarios and create scoring opportunities would inject unpredictability into their attacking play.

The fee being demanded is within Wolves’ financial capacity, and if they decide to meet it, Adli could become a key figure for them. Regular minutes in the Premier League may be just what he needs to reach his full potential.
