Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly battling it out with several European clubs for Atalanta forward El Bilal Toure.
AfricaFoot reports that Wolves are one of seven clubs weighing up a move for Bilal Toure, who returned to Atalanta after spending last season on loan at Stuttgart. The Malian endured an injury-ridden spell in Germany but has garnered the attention of clubs in Europe, including Marseille.
The Ligue 1 club are thought to have held talks with the Serie A outfit regarding a deal to sign the 23-year-old on loan with an option to buy. Roberto De Zerbi faces competition from Vitor Pereira, who is continuing to put his stamp on the squad at Molineux.

The Italians set to decide his future
Wolves sealed their first summer signing last month, bringing Spanish winger Fer Lopez to Molineux from Celta Vigo. Jorgen Strand Larsen’s loan move has become permanent for £23m, as clauses in the deal have been triggered.
Pereira will want to ensure he has an attack that can deliver in front of goal, especially after selling Matheus Cunha to Manchester United in a £62.5m deal. They could swoop for Bilal Toure, who is still developing, having somewhat struggled since joining Atalanta in the summer of 2023.
The Mali international, whose teammate described him as “world-class”, was a hit at La Liga side Almeria, bagging seven goals and two assists in 22 games. He is a clever forward whose link-up play could be enticing given the partnership that Cunha and Larsen struck up.
