Rangers have reportedly finalized an agreement with Lille for the transfer of Hamza Igamane, paving the way for the Moroccan forward’s move to Ligue 1. As part of the deal, his former club AS FAR—from whom Rangers signed the 22-year-old—will receive close to 30% of the transfer fee.
The talented striker has drawn interest from multiple European clubs this summer. However, Premier League sides Everton and West Ham United have reportedly stepped back from negotiations, believing Igamane may not yet be ready for the demands of the English top flight.
Former Rangers coach Issame Charai, now head coach at Belgian side Westerlo, recently revealed that Igamane hadn’t been considering an exit from Ibrox when they last spoke. However, Lille’s increased pursuit appears to have shifted the forward’s focus, and the move to France now seems imminent.

Talks are at an advanced stage between Rangers and Conor Coady, although the defender has returned to Leicester City for pre-season training.
