Though guests were asked to keep their phones away during Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s private wedding, one Buffalo Bills tradition still found its way into the celebration.

During last season, Allen and several teammates went viral for singing and dancing to “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers a moment that sparked a new Bills game-day tradition. The song has since been played regularly during second-half timeouts at games. According to offensive tackle Spencer Brown, the song made another appearance this time at the couple’s wedding reception.

Speaking on the Centered On Buffalo podcast with Eric Wood, Brown said, “I don’t think any videos will surface, but the song was played, and it was awesome.” He added that it was a highlight of the night and that he looks forward to hearing it again during the upcoming season.

Brown was one of several Bills players who attended the wedding, along with teammates Dawson Knox, Dion Dawkins, head coach Sean McDermott, and others.

Allen and Steinfeld were married on May 31 at a venue in California. They later shared Polaroid photos from their honeymoon, though the location remained private. In her Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld offered a few personal wedding reflections, revealing that Allen was in awe when he first saw her walking down the aisle.

The actress wore a strapless white gown by Tamara Ralph, complemented with opera gloves, a lace veil, and pearl-and-diamond earrings. She noted how handsome Allen looked in his classic black tuxedo, calling the day unforgettable.
