The Philadelphia Phillies have remained one of MLB’s top teams this season, even while star slugger Bryce Harper has been sidelined since June 6 due to a wrist injury.
Now, Harper appears to be nearing a return. Though not yet fully cleared, he made a major stride in his rehab by facing live pitching in Atlanta, as reported by ESPN.
“Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper faced live pitching at Truist Park as he continues to recover from a right wrist injury,” ESPN noted. Harper, who was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier this month, traveled with the team to Atlanta and participated in a workout ahead of Saturday night’s game against the Braves.
