While on international duty, Livramento praised the manager’s influence on his development, saying that the ongoing support means a lot to him.

Meanwhile, striker Alexander Isak has drawn interest from Liverpool, adding to the challenges facing Newcastle as other clubs eye their stars.

Magpies Eye Sporting CP’s Diomande Amid Competition from Real Madrid
On the defensive front, Newcastle are preparing a formal bid for Sporting CP centre back Ousmane Diomande. The 21-year-old Ivory Coast international has been on their radar for months and is also attracting serious interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea. While Newcastle haven’t entered direct talks with Diomande yet, they intend to submit a concrete offer soon.

Diomande, who helped Sporting win the Portuguese league title last season, has a £68.3 million release clause, although suitors may attempt to negotiate a lower fee. He made 46 appearances, scored twice, assisted once, and won 134 duels throughout the campaign.

With veterans Fabian Schär and Jamaal Lascelles approaching the latter stages of their careers, Newcastle are looking to invest in younger options for the future making Diomande a logical and strategic target.
