Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen might be getting a different kind of ring this week a wedding ring.
Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld, who announced their engagement last year, have kept wedding plans largely private, avoiding public attention. However, a close friend and teammate may have let their secret slip.
Wedding Rumored for May 31
Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins may have accidentally revealed the wedding date during a March interview with Kyle Brandt. When asked about offseason plans, Dawkins said, “Josh Allen is one of those guys you know he sealed that deal. And soon to come, May 31, it’s happening.”
The comment quickly made waves, fueling speculation that Allen and Steinfeld will tie the knot by the end of May.
However, Dawkins appeared to backtrack more recently during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, saying he doesn’t know anything specific about the ceremony. “Is that coming up? I ain’t know nothing about that,” he joked. “I’m in Orchard Park, focused on Hallmark and a good plate of wings.” Dawkins is currently involved in filming a Hallmark Channel movie alongside other Bills players.

Wedding Timing Aligns With Team’s Schedule
If the rumored May 31 date is accurate, the timing would fit well with the Bills’ offseason program. The team’s voluntary workouts wrap up in late May, and mandatory minicamp doesn’t begin until June 10. Allen has participated regularly in optional practices, but attendance isn’t required.
Steinfeld also appears to have a gap in her work commitments following the release of her film Sinners in April, adding more fuel to the wedding rumors.
The couple, who got engaged during the Bills’ bye week last November, have not shared many details about their upcoming nuptials — including the location. Though they own a home near Buffalo, Allen often spends offseasons in his native California.
For now, fans will have to wait and see if the big day is truly just around the corner.
