The Detroit Lions have added another name to their list of signed 2025 draft picks. Wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa, selected in the third round, shared a photo on Instagram showing himself signing his rookie contract, captioning it: “Officially a Lion. God is so good.”

While the team hasn’t made an official announcement yet, the post  along with contract details reported by NFL insider Aaron Wilson confirms the signing. According to Wilson, TeSlaa’s deal is for four years and worth $6.654 million, including a $1.5 million signing bonus.

TeSlaa becomes the fifth member of Detroit’s 2025 draft class to sign, joining fifth-rounder Myles Frazier, sixth-rounder Ahmed Hassanein, and seventh-round picks Dan Jackson and Dominic Lovett, all of whom were signed during rookie minicamp.

That leaves just two unsigned draft picks: defensive tackle Tyleik Williams and offensive guard Tate Ratledge. These second-round selections typically take a bit longer to finalize due to negotiation flexibility a trend underscored this year when the Texans gave Jayden Higgins, picked 34th overall, a fully guaranteed contract.

However, there’s no immediate concern about getting those final two deals done. In 2024, second-rounder Ennis Rakestraw didn’t sign until May 31, and Terrion Arnold waited until June 13. The only real deadline that matters is training camp in July, and it’s rare for signings to drag on that long.
