Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins has officially debunked the viral rumor that he got a tattoo of quarterback Josh Allen following Allen’s MVP-caliber 2024 season.

In a social media video, Dawkins addressed the speculation directly, making it clear that the rumor — which stemmed from a photo of a tattoo resembling Allen diving for a touchdown — was completely false.

“It’s been everywhere on the internet, but no, I did not get my quarterback tattooed on me,” Dawkins said. “I’m not doing that. Do you know how weird Josh would feel around me if I had a tattoo of him? That’s just strange.”

Dawkins joked that whoever actually got the tattoo “cannot protect Josh Allen,” emphasizing again that he had no part in the viral image that fooled many fans online.

Allen Eyes Huge 2025 Season With Super Bowl Hopes

Meanwhile, Josh Allen is heading into the 2025 season with high expectations. The Buffalo Bills are projected to win their sixth straight AFC East title, thanks to a favorable schedule and offseason additions like wide receiver Joshua Palmer and running back Elijah Mitchell.

Despite a tough slate of home games — including matchups against the Chiefs, Ravens, Bengals, Eagles, and Buccaneers — the Bills’ road schedule is softer, with the Steelers posing the most significant challenge. Analysts predict a 13-4 record, placing Buffalo among the league’s elite alongside Kansas City and Baltimore.

Allen is coming off an impressive 2024 campaign where he threw for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns, and just six interceptions, while also rushing for 531 yards and 12 scores. With a 101.4 passer rating and renewed playoff ambitions, the Bills’ biggest test remains getting past the Chiefs — the team that ended their Super Bowl hopes yet again in the AFC Championship game.
