The Dallas Cowboys are set to host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day in 2025Â and Kansas City wasted no time turning up the heat.
Just hours before the full NFL schedule release, it was confirmed that the Cowboys’ annual holiday game would feature a star-studded clash with the reigning AFC powerhouse. It’s already shaping up to be one of the season’s most anticipated matchups, and the Chiefs decided to stir the pot early.
Not long after the news broke, the Chiefs took a playful shot at Dallas on social media, posting a photo of Post Malone a Grammy-nominated artist and lifelong Cowboys fan — wearing a Chiefs jersey.
That light-hearted troll didn’t go unnoticed.
Post Malone has strong ties to the Cowboys. His family moved to Grapevine, Texas, during his childhood after his father took a job as the Cowboys’ concessions manager. He’s been a visible supporter of the team, most recently seen wearing a Brandon Aubrey jersey during a concert at AT&T Stadium. The moment became even more memorable when Aubrey signed the jersey for him in person.
Malone also previously attended Cowboys games in full team gear and has even featured the Cowboys cheerleaders in events at his Raising Cane’s location.
With that kind of loyalty, the Chiefs’ tweet could make things personal for both Malone and Cowboys fans — adding some extra flair to an already electric Thanksgiving showdown.
